"Container yard" and "pickup efficiency"

"Inner Yard" and "Outer Yard"

Another way of stacking is ground, i.e. ground stack. Here the containers will be stacked one by one, in addition to the outside of the yard does not have the kind of dock can be moved back and forth, only the front crane. The front crane can only lift the topmost container, so the containers in the ground stack will take some time to wait for matching racks, searching for containers and finally taking out the containers, so the efficiency of picking up the containers will be much slower.
